While working at DAWANG, I was able to explore my creativity in an environment that was completely new to me. DAWANG blends contemporary designs with traditional Chinese fabrics and silhouettes; they are a pioneer of modern Chinese fashion in the United States. I worked on a variety of projects during my yearlong internship, however, my main focus was on the DAWANG2 renewal collection. This collection utilized old samples, inventory, and materials to create new, one-of-a-kind designs.
